Open too soon to many older americans die. Open too late economy dies and this will also kill people. You had better have a good answer for people out of work who have run out of money (in many states unemployment compensation is made very difficult to get and many workers of small businesses are not eligible. people forget this. Also small business owners and independent contractors don’t pay unemployment insurance) You had better have a better answer then overwhelmed food banks.
Either way I fear we’re in for a Great Depression. I hope I’m wrong… oh how I hope I’m wrong! By the way have you noticed the largest number of people in AZ with this disease are in the 22 to 40 age group? They are hardly what you would call seniors! Mind you actually getting tested is next to impossible unless you’re a politian or a millionaire. Predictions for COVID 19 hitting AZ are May so hang onto your bootstraps.
We want to error on the side of caution not knowing what kind of virus this is, all the bigwig doctors along with the computer models said about 2 million Americans would die. Now knowing more about COVID 19 and its not as deadly as first thought we need to reopen America don’t forget that South Dakota never did shut down and still had the same amount of sick people and deaths as the other states that did shut down.
