But truthfully, the blood is on everybody’s hands, as U.S. foreign policy is and always has been violent and repressive, no matter who the president is.
As one who saw the “bits & pieces” of fellow soldiers that came through Landstuhl while deployed 2005 through 2006, I can only say how glad I am that the remaining troops are coming home. I can also can’t tell you the depths of personal grief because of knowing the “bits & pieces,” both physical & mental of the struggles that came for the families & caregivers who of those that survived tours down range. God bless them all.
