Captain America I’m a Republican, I’m not one of the elite. I don’t have a yacht, or own an island. I don’t have millions in my bank account. However, I do count my blessing, I have a home, a car, all the essentials of life, in other words “I’m only as rich as I need to be”. I would like to thank my creator, that I have been given the privilege of living in this great country and that despite the color of my skin, I have access to the greatest of all the gifts that a nation could offer, LIBERTY !

In the 1850s they defended slavery in the United States, and promoted its expansion into the West against northern Free Soil opposition. The United States presidential election of 1860 formalized the split, and brought the American Civil War. After Reconstruction ended in the late 1870s they controlled all the Southern states and disenfranchised blacks (who were Republicans). Again, the left somehow manages to ignore the facts of history .
