  1. Yes, it is rather disturbing, isn’t it? It really shows how far mindless partisanship has come.

The U.S. intelligence apparatus, particularly the CIA, has been responsible for all sorts of criminal mayhem for decades–assassination, torture, drug-running, subversion of elections in a long list of nations, secret wars, wholesale civilian slaughter, supporting dictators, illegally spying on its own citizens, and on and on–and should not be trusted by anyone on any level. Rather, oversight should be vastly increased and black budgets drastically cut, because none of this “national security” activity makes people in this country more secure. On the contrary, in recent decades it merely spawns legions of anti-U.S. terrorists and enemies.

Now all of a sudden Democrats and squishy liberals are looking to these agencies as heroes and paragons of truth and virtue? And they trust these agencies to be king-makers, or better, king-UN-makers who get to decide when a president should be removed from power? Gag me with a subpoena. If the intelligence agencies bring down Tchump–no matter how deserving of opprobrium and ridicule and jail time he may be–it would set a profoundly disturbing precedent for U.S. democracy (what little is left of it, anyway).

If there is solid criminal evidence against Tchump, then by all means he should be charged and prosecuted. Otherwise, let’s move on to the next election and throw the bum out the proper way, without entangling the intelligence apparatus in a domestic political struggle.

  2. While I do not agree with everything the Alphabet groups have done in our name, I like every other American also rely on them to protect my from the evils in the world. They exist and always have. Right this minute we are under attack and it seems that many here in the US are helping them. This we need to take care of in a timely manner without hindrance. For every ‘bad’ thing you could list, they have done maybe a hundred to protect you. Protecting our elections should be a top priority.

  3. to bslap:
Yeah, seems a bit ironic. But it’s the natural order of things. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
These federal agencies are standing against corruption in government, taking up the slack where congress and voters have failed to do their parts.

  4. The FBI and DOJ partnered with Hillary and the Democrats on the Russia hoax. It’s interesting how much they knew about it and how early on they knew it. Barr is not done turning the Mueller Report into real facts. Wait until you see the rats run.

  5. FBI Lawyer Klinesmith cut a deal and plead guilty to falsifying a document presented to the FISA Judge. Now Brennan does eight hour interview with Durham, and he uses a third party to talk about his day. Perjury protection. The wheels are about to come off this big hoax. Stay tuned.
