  1. Headline should be “Congress Failed To Secure Border For Nearly 40 Years.”

It is all about the votes. Democrats want to expand voting rights to all breathing and non breathing 16 year olds that have entered the country, or would like to enter the country illegally. And then eliminate the Electoral College so they might dupe a majority of their victims to support their push for power.

If you can’t win, just change the rules.

  2. ted electorial college was demanded by slave states to help protect slavery and wanted slaves counted as people to enlarge slave state numbers in congress. 2nd amendment was demanded by slave states to arm slave patrol militias. change the rules to win you mean like being able to use a hunting license to vote as id ;but not college id? how about republican governor in michigan having his controller in detroit that he put in bankruptcy refuse to pay to service or repair voting machines so 70,000 votes for clinton in detroit could not be counted?

  3. So, you believe that counting an individual’s vote without electoral college interference is bullying? Votes should be counted as they are with no interference, yet conservatives don’t view it like that because they would have to play fair and accept the slaughtering they receive in presidential elections.

Also, New York and California have their fair share if conservative Republicans, so don’t go believing that there are so many liberals in these states that their votes will supersede all the ones from the flyover states.

  4. Speaking of changing the rules how about making a simple majority enough to confirm a Supreme court nominee. That worked so well why not change the rule for ALL federal judges !!!

  5. Why not just drop all the rules? If the rules don’t allow for your desired outcome, let’s eliminate them. Then we can see why they were put in place originally. My hope is that we survive our winter of discontent.

  6. Dropping all the rules would be great. It’s called “anarchy”, and Gandhi was right when he said that “enlightened anarchy” is the best form of government.

Alas, human society is not yet mature or enlightened enough to succeed at anarchy (one browse through these comment threads is proof enough of that). And the U.S. least of all–any country that is stoopid and irresponsible enough to elect a certifiable lunatic jackass like Tchump as president is definitely not ready for anarchy.
