It seems the Presidential candidates in the 2020 race must be excluded as Senatorial jurors because it amounts to election tampering by diminishing your opponent.
Its called jury nullification. The house was fair and impartial? Its called politics trump derangement syndrome snowflakes. You think the democrats who take the oath will be fair and impartial?
I remember the Clinton impeachment. He was being tried for the crime of lying about accepting the offer of a blowjob on his coffee break. An offer that was made 5 years after the investigation was started, and only discovered because the Starr Investigation had Tripp illegally spy and tape people in the White House. She went to prison for it. Fair and impartial? Please. trump and inner circle have committed actual crimes, plenty of them, bribery and extortion etc. Over a dozen witnesses and hundreds of pages of documents prove it beyond question. The only question left, will republicans be impartial enough to face the facts? Or will their fear of retribution from this administration cow them into obedience.

You liked clinton so you said his obstruction of justice and perjury not oral sex was the charges didn’t meet the standard for impeachment.
