  1. This cartoon is a lie. The Annapolis shooting resulted from a personal beef the shooter had with the paper. It had nothing to do with the President.

The cartoon is a lie. It’s fake news. “Sarah Palin caused Jared Loughner to shoot Gabby Giffords” was also a lie, but it was still being repeated by the New York Times six years after it had be debunked. Once these sorts of lies get embedded in the liberal consciousness, they are impossible to dig out.

If the press wants to win back the trust of the American people, it should stop lying.

  2. Yes, the shooter had a long standing beef with the paper but hadn’t acted on it until after tRump verbally demonized reporters. You don’t know for a fact that his words didn’t tip the scales and incite this deranged individual to proceed with an attack on the paper, (while on the other side of the coin we can’t say definitely it did). But what kind of a “leader” incites violence against others in the first place?! And what kind of a person (such as yourself) thinks this is OK?

  3. Maxine Waters incites violence against others and the media is silent. That makes them an accomplice.

The media demonizes Trump and they are not causing it? Just look at the rampant violent protesters in Portland Saturday.

  4. Maryland police investigating America’s latest mass murder say Jarrod Ramos, the man charged with the slayings, sent three threatening letters on the day of the attack, including one that said he was on his way to the Capital Gazette to “kill as many people” as he could.-AP

When will we take serious all the threats of violence that have become so prevalent in our society today? Free speech comes with responsibilities. It always has.
