What if they decide to take their wealth somewhere else . They’ve done so in the past, and America lost millions of jobs . I’m not opposed to Medicate for certain individuals and members of their families who can’t possibly afford to pay for health insurance. A safety net should always be provided for the poor who through no fault of their own are incapable of obtaining healthcare, and the bare essentials of life. If there is any question as to why socialism will never work in our country, you have to look no further than our own back yard. We have in certain communities within our cities, and towns, where people are totally dependent upon government for survival. We often refer to them as slums, barrios, and hoods. They’er composed of whites, blacks , Hispanics. Their crime is high. They mostly live in apt’s that most of us would consider to be inadequate. Their schools are in shambles. However, they all have one thing in common, They all have healthcare, food and lodging. This is socialism , any takers ?

If so, is this policy, this socialism, affecting your quality-of-life? It affects mine! I get that old SS check every month, which enables me to buy all of the gin, beer and wine I can safely consume, and then there’s medicare. It appears that life is good under socialism, at least for some of us.
Today there is now little difference between democrats, liberals, progressives and socialists. Just look at the failed socialist countries. It always devolves from loss of debate, to dictatorship to executions.
