We’re happy to introduce a new daily political cartoon from Clay Jones, a nationally syndicated cartoonist whose work will be appearing daily here on The Range and weekly in the print edition. You can learn more about Jones here, as well as peruse some of his past strips here.
Here’s what he has to say about today’s strip:
Conservatives lie. Thatโs the honest truth. Theyโre not just incapable of discussing any issue without fabrications because they lack an ability to comprehend. They use lies because thatโs their weapon of choice. They use lies because their base is dumb enough to fall for them.
Conservatives amplified fake news from Russian trolls 30 times more than liberals. They even complained when Twitter conducted a purge of Russian bots.
Look at their leader, who is the king of lies. Look at his spokesperson, who told so many lies yesterday it was hard to keep up. Try to find a Republican who realizes weโre paying for Trumpโs stupid border wall, not Mexico.
When Republicans canโt counter an argument, they donโt just lie about the issue. They lie about the messenger and engage in campaigns to vilify their political opponents. They told us Obama was a Marxist Muslim born in Kenya planning to take everyoneโs guns away right after he was finished invading Texas.
Enter the students who survived the school shooting in Parkland. This is a situation where victims of a mass shooting are speaking out in favor of gun control, and conservatives and NRA supporters are resorting to their usual tactics of assaulting the messengers. In this case, theyโre attacking minors who hid in closets during a shooting and had to step over the bodies of their friends, classmates, and teachers to evacuate the building.

Clay Jones was often sent to the principals office as a child for making fun of his classmates. He discovered at a young age that he had a knack for poking fun at the flaws of others, and he decided later to make it a career. (Liberals refer to that as bullying when it’s done to their kids)
Here’s what he has to say about today’s strip:

Really?
My cartoons do not tell readers what they should believe. I hope they simply challenge people to think.
So his cartoons don’t tell people what to believe. He uses an approach called “Here’s what he has to say about today’s strip.”
I can’t wait for the Hillary cartoon depicting the “scrubbed” hard drive, that created the whole Russia Russia Russia story. (If the FBI ever gives it up.)
His photo depicts an adult in a child’s t-shirt. True to form.
William H:
His photo depicts an adult wearing an adult sized shirt that has the Peanuts character Snoopy on it. Peanuts was a comic strip that was written and drawn by Charles M. Schultz (R.I.P.) and is still syndicated because although Mr. Schultz is gone, the love for his work most certainly is not. That love comes from people of all ages who live in many different countries on this planet, not just children.
But hey, you got everything else in your comment wrong, why should I have expected you to get that right? True to form.
