  1. We all know what trump is. He is worse then a racist because he does this for political gain not out of hate. The question is where are the democrats? Where is nancy pelosi on impeachment besides up the donors you know where.

  2. Maybe the word “racist” is being to commonly used. Correct me if I am wrong but if you are a racist don’t you hate the whole race?

Not necessarily True Historian. My stepfather would use vulgar slurs to refer to black people, though he had a black friend. His defense of this was “they’re not all bad people.” So he made some sort of odd divide between black people and (insert ignorant slur). Note he did not make this divide with white people. My stepfather was still a huge racist.

    That’s why the defense of I can’t be racist/homophobic I have a black/gay friend doesn’t hold much water.

  3. Thanks. There was a day when I would have agreed with you. But the attacks today are about every comment and every person. yet when I read the definition, it is all encompassing. Seems to me when you single out people , you are making it about actions/inaction but not race,

    racist
    /rsst/
    Learn to pronounce
    noun
    1.
a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

  4. True Historian I would agree with that definition but believe racism is more nuanced than that. If we discriminate against anyone because of something related to their race, even though we do not believe the same of all people in that race, there is still an aspect of racism at play. If we could all get over ourselves and see everyone as part of the human race we’d be much better off (though that may be a pipe dream).

  5. Plenty of racists worship sports teams and their black superstar players. Plenty of racists listen to popular music made by black and brown people. Plenty of racists can claim a certain friend of color, even while denigrating their race as a whole. The definition above shows that–“OR who believes that a particular race is superior”–it doesn’t have to be absolute.

Tchump has a long, demonstrated history of racism, going back to the 70s. Just like his father, he purposely excluded people of color from renting his residential units in NYC, and was actually prosecuted for it by the federal government. He routinely removed people of color who were working the floor of his casinos when racist clients complained about interacting with them. He spearheaded a witch hunt against the five minority youths who were wrongly railroaded for the Central Park rape/murder, and to this day maintains they are guilty, even though they were exonerated by DNA. His policies and pronouncements as president are virulently racist, cozying up to white nationalists and nazis while habitually lying about, attacking and denigrating Latino immigrants and other people of color. His racist statements are voluminous, and they go way back long before he ran for president. He threw around the N word on a regular basis while running his stoopid TV show. It goes on and on………

Yes, he uses racism to motivate his political supporters in what remains a profoundly racist country. But he’s doing it because he believes in it. Tchump’s father was a virulent racist, and Tchump is, too. It’s OBVIOUS, because he doesn’t really try to hide it. Apparently he’s proud of it.

  6. Funny, nobody ever called Trump a racists until he became President, now the far left democrats have to yell racists because RUSSIA is dead.
