CW13 – You’re right that Obama did lock up a few children but those were unaccompanied. And the conditions under which they were held were light years better than what Trump’s DHS is doing.
The main thing that you miss though is that instead of only locking up unaccompanied minors, Trump’s DHS is forcibly ripping children from their parents and locking them up in animal cages inside tents and has no idea where they put them. Nor any desire to re-unite them.
Also, Wileybud, the Obama Administration abided by the Flores Agreement, which limited the amount of time children could be incarcerated. The Trump regime wants to keep them in cages indefinitely.

I read recently that it’s costing us over one million dollars per day to keep thousands of kids in the tent city in Texas. I have no clue how much we’re spending in the other states. Wouldn’t foster homes be cheaper? It would be a lot healthier for the children!

The bipartisan bill was approved by unanimous consent and signed by Bush.
