Like I’ve stated in the past, I was a long time democrat, than I became an Independent . My main concern is with the newest version of the party. At one time, we believed in securing our borders. we didn’t bash free speech, or promote violence against anyone that opposed us. We didn’t have phrases like “white privileged” or safe spaces at our universities. Our schools taught respect for our flag, and love for our country We were taught to work hard and be a provider, rather than to ask our government to bare the burden. Our enforcement officers were respected, and our laws were enforced. As kids between the ages 11- 13 our Christmas present was a 22 cal rifle, or a hunting knife. This is the America I grew up to love ,and swore to protect and defend, against all enemies, both foreign, and domestic. I want my children to have, what I had, These are some of the reasons why I walked away from the left, and urge those individuals who feel the same, to simply’ walk away’, if you still value the freedom that the greatest country in the world has provided for you. .
