Plucky Prop 409, which would allow the city to sell bonds to raise money to fix many of our troubled roads, is now passing by 242 votes. There are an estimated 26,000 provisional ballots left to count, according to Pima County officials, but it’s unclear how many of those were cast by voters inside the city limits.

  1. At least we’re making those creepy land lords pay for it instead of the actual people who use the roads. Oh well guess I’ll just have to raise the rents. Can’t they just tax sugary drinks and candies? I think fat people probably have a more negative impact on our roads than do the skinny ones.
