An update to TW’s feature story this week on the Congressional District 8 race: Jim Kelley of the Tucson Citizen website reports that Andy Goss is shutting down his campaign and endorsing Jesse Kelly. Goss tells the Citizen:

Unfortunately, the reality is that I cannot compete financially with the two front runners in this race. I can only saw BB’s for so long. I’ve come to the decision to suspend my campaign for Arizona CD8. With that, I will endorse Jesse Kelly.”

  1. I’m not sure that whatshisname’s endorsement will be just enough to get the guy with the blue signs and tiny pachyderm over the guy who goes and fights in wars and shit. Apparently, they’re all running against Nancy Pelosi and some sort of multinational corporation called Obamacare.

All I know for sure is that Pelosi won’t receive many votes in CD8 but will still be in DC next year.

  2. Can anyone tell me what “Fallacy of Relevance” that this endorsement reflects? I’m sure those who think for themselves see it for what it is … Endorsements don’t impress me, I think we all should educate ourselves on the issues and then collectively see who most represent our views. I know that Brian Miller represents my views the closest! Therefore, I encourage you all to check him out at http://www.brianmillerforcongress.com.
