Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has hired Rodd McLeod to run her 2010 reelection campaign. McLeod, who recently left a gig running Democrat Terry Goddard’s gubernatorial effort, ran Giffords’ 2006 run for office.
The press release from Giffords’ campaign:
Giffords for Congress is pleased to announce that Rodd McLeod, who led Gabrielle’s first successful congressional bid in 2006, will serve as campaign manager for Giffords for Congress, effective July 18.
McLeod currently serves as Vice President at MSHC Partners. McLeod served as campaign manager for Giffords’ successful first congressional campaign in 2006, leading her to double-digit victories in both the primary and general elections. In 2008, McLeod advised 24 successful Democratic congressional pickups across the country.
“Rodd has a record of campaign accomplishments and he knows how to win in Southern Arizona. We are thrilled that he will be heading up our team once again,” said Giffords for Congress campaign chairman Michael McNulty.

I really don’t think that the majority of Arizona’s Congressional District #8 Constituency is happy with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D). She along with the Obama Administration has done more harm than good just in the last two years alone. Also, now that she if finally on the bandwagon for addressing border issues; one has to ask why has it taken her so many years to appropriately address the issue? He record is dismal when it comes to Immigration and a lot of Democrats think that she is just another “Puppet” for the Obama Administration. I tend to think this as well.
I encourage everyone to take a look at the Grassroots Candidate Brian Miller. His positions are clear and have sound reasoning behind them. I think you will be as impressed with this young man as I was!!! http://www.brianmillerforcongress.com
