The Humane Society of Southern Arizona presents Buster Brown, a 1 1/2-year-old Pit Bull Mix
Reference No.: 756260

Do you like hugs? Buster Brown does! And he could sure use all the hugs you can muster. After surviving horrific abuse, Buster Brown serendipitously jumped into an HSSA employee’s car. Although he was bloody and battered, Buster Brown was safe and on his way to a better life. Fast forward to today and Buster Brown is looking great and feeling fine. This peppy pooch eagerly anticipates daily walks, tasty treats and romping around with his favorite dog pals. He’s blissfully happy simply to stretch out on the grass and enjoy a moment in the sun. Although Buster Brown will no doubt make a terrific companion, he does have a few special requests: He needs to go to a home without cats or small dogs, he prefers to be left alone when eating and he needs to live primarily indoors. In return for a little extra care, Buster Brown will be your pride and joy for many years to come. If you could give this deserving darling a place to finally belong, please get to know Buster Brown today at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona! He’s got so much potential and can’t wait to feel safe and appreciated.

”He needs to go to a home without cats or small dogs”,so what happens if he gets loose? Is it cool if he mauls/kills cats/dogs/kids?
Will you only adopt to people with a tiger zoo type compound? Or one million public liability insurance? And a home with no kids?
If its all how they are raised then why rehome a bloody and battered abused fighting breed, will the Humane Society of Southern Arizona be paying any bills of the victims he may maul or kill.
Translation: This pit bull mix likes to kill other animals — cats, dogs, doesn’t matter. If you try to stop an attack on another animal, he’ll likely redirect on you and attack you instead. This pit bull mix will attack you if you look at him wrong while he eats. He’ll do the same if your children look at him wrong when he eats. This pit bull is an escape artist, so you need to keep him indoors. No fence will contain him or keep him from roaming the neighborhood looking for pets or children to kill. You musn’t open any windows in the summer, because he will escape to go marauding. You should replace all the glass in your windows with bullet-proof glass, so he can’t crash through them to go attack something.
Oh, and as for the hugs — don’t try it when there’s a unnoticed crumb on the carpet somewhere, because he might think you’re threatening his ownership of that crumb and take your face off.
I hope the Humane Society of Southern Arizona gets sued when this dog attacks someone for being too close to it while the pitbull is eating, or tries tp prevent it from killing another animal. Oh, wait, they just warned all you prospective owners, so they won’t be liable for what happens.
What happened to the days of only adopting out dogs that COMPLETELY passed a temperament test ruling out food aggression?
