We here at Weekly World Central just received a news release, compliments of the Patty Weiss for Congress Campaign. The headline:
FDR Granddaughter Throws Support to Weiss in CD 8 Race
Wow. I am just on pins and needles waiting to see who Warren G. Harding’s grand-nephew endorses!
This is, by far, the dumbest political press release I’ve seen in a loooong time. And that’s saying something.
And, I must point out one more tidbit: This release was snagged by my junk e-mail folder.
How amazingly appropriate.

That’s kind of a snarky mean comment. I wouldn’t mind being compared to FDR and Eleanor. In fact, I would love it.
At least she is getting endorsements the honest way, and not lying to organizations like the Sierra Club, denying she wanted to look at expanding nuclear energy use.
Too bad the Latas campaign has her on video saying “we should look at nuclear energy since we haven’t had an accident in years.” I guess Sierra Club has egg on their faces once again.
I won’t even get into her voting record.
I’ll take Weiss over her any day. Jay Quick is the one I want to hear more from. Maybe morbid curiosity, or maybe he will actually turn out to be something. Who knows? I am just tired of lying politicians who put their own self-interest over the people.
