Tohono Chul Park celebrates Bloom Night 2010 tonight from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Experience the sights and smells of the flowering peniocereus greggi, shop at the museum shop and greenhouse, enter a raffle to win a night-blooming cereus plant and learn some anthropomorphic stories at 7 and 9 p.m.

Bloom Night is free for park members and children 12 and younger; $5 for others. Bring a flashlight to navigate the trails. Visit Tohono Chul Park or call 742-6455 for info. The park is located at 7366 N. Paseo del Norte.

  1. Great journalism, Irene Messina, thanks for the info!

And while it’s understandable that TW would not be concerned with children, let’s the rest of us keep in mind our children when attending such events in the Old Pueblo…

this, from that socialist machine, alternative journalism at ADS:

“Lock your car; never allow kids in it without you”
