Their website may say different, but The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen at 7265 N. La Cholla Blvd. is open. I happen to be in the area yesterday afternoon and saw a “Now Open” banner as well as a few cars parked in the lot. I popped in and was informed that it was their first day open and they were ready to rock. I had other errands to finish so I didn’t have the opportunity to sample the goods but I’ll be back. I ate there today and it wasn’t very good. Service was awful, but burger wasn’t great either.
My family and I went in there. They’re way over priced for what we got. With in the first 5 minutes we had 3 different waiters. My mom ordered the fried chicken. She received it after everyone else was almost finished eating. My daughter and I ordered the prime rib. My daughters was mostly fat. With the prime rib I got the twice baked potato. It had a black bad spot on the potato and was still slightly frozen in the middle. Everyone’s food was served room temp except for my moms chicken. My son ordered macaroni and cheese from the kids menu. $5 for a small bowl. It was supposed to come with a side and when we reminded our waitress she apologized and told us the macaroni didn’t come with a side and she forgot to tell us. Needless to say my family will not be returning to The Lodge!
