On last night’s AZ Illustrated Politics: Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Lea Marquez-Peterson, Tucson Tea Party founder Trent Humphries and former Pima County Democratic Party chairman Jeff Rogers talked about President Barack Obama’s visit to Arizona, what kind of help the federal government can provide homeowners, next year’s gubernatorial race, the expansion of Tortolita Mountain Park, the passing of local columnist Jeff Smith and more.

  1. Jeff Smith wrote my favorite TW article. Responding to a critique of the downtown library that it didn’t match the design vocabulary of Tucson, Jeff observed that Tucson doesn’t’t have a design vocabulary, but if it did, the best example would be the bull with the day-glo orange balls at Casa Molina on Speedway! Rest in Peace, Jeff.
