On this week’s AZ Illustrated Politics: Pima County Democratic Party chairman Don Jorgensen and Tucson Tea Party founder Trent Humphries talk about Rio Nuevo’s tentative agreement to loan downtown developer Scott Stiteler $4.3 million for a boutique hotel project; whether the Rosemont Mine project will get all of its permits by the end of year; the efforts of DREAMers to get driver’s licenses in Arizona; the impact of the sequester on Southern Arizona; Sen. John McCain’s recent efforts to make deals with Democrats in the U.S. Senate; and more!

Tucson Tea Party founder Trent Humphries is a traitor to the people of Tucson and Arizona. He only agenda is to trash the efforts of the city to improve. The Tea Party really is the Taliban of the USA. Its only agenda is to destroy the USA city by city. We can see that in all the Republican controlled states. Most of them are at the bottom in Education, Health care and in the rights of the people. They are suppressing the voting rights to allow them to win election. 72 of the Tea Party law makers are in protected district in this nation, so they can do nothing and still win. They have few blacks or minorities so they are safe to continue the NO and blocking votes. PA is in court now to fight for Photo IDs, yet they cannot offer one voter fraud case. In fact Republicans in PA are saying they will win the elections if Photo ID is allow to pass.

RE: Rosemant… Has anyone carried out the ultimate negative possibility? 30 years from now, give or take, the copper runs out. (It’s been known to happen) And the American branch of the Canadian company running things throws in the towel, declaring ‘bankruptcy’.
They have made this huge hole in our Dessert. They have left an enormous pile of tailings. Overall, a hazerdous situation. (Hole fills with water, kids fall in, kids climb the tailings piles and fall, ETC.) We ask them to take care of it. Their reply? ‘Oh, WE’RE BANKRUPT! We can’t fix that. Like to help you, but… Sorry’. Tough, eh?
