  1. Every time I hear Vince Rabago speak I am liking him more and more for the job. Considering immigration will be such a hot button issue this election, I really like that he has personal and professional experience to draw from. It’s so obvious when someone takes a couple trips down to the border then just mimics what a few officials told them over an hour-long lunch. We need an AG with both compassion for the people and devotion to the laws.
Both candidates do have strong experience on the “consumer protection” issue but I have a feeling that Rabago isn’t using this race and office just to further his career up the chain. He seems very genuine in his passion for the AG’s office.
Also, as a woman, I would love to see another woman in a state-wide seat, but they need to be the best person running for the job. I cannot see my self voting for a woman just because she is a woman. It is making this election a very hard choice for some people. I hope in the end the best PERSON wins, because that is what will move Arizona forward.

  2. agree with Lillian. not going to vote for a woman just b/c she’s a woman. this one is no Janet. if she was, she wouldn’t have falsely attacked Rabago on television in the Phoenix debate. the media called her on it the next day. she’s singling Rabago out because he’s the most capable leader.

lujan is out of the question b/c he avoided voting when 1070 was voted on, all while being called the minority leader. then again, he’s run as a Republican in the past so I see him as someone who tries to do whatever he thinks is going to help him win politically and tries to not cause waves, even when he should take a stand one way or the other. a real leader takes a position, even when it is tough.

  3. I am very much looking forward to John McCain and JD Hayworth debate. I am certain JD will humiliate himself, perhaps not to the immediate moment because he is a very smooth talker, but once everyone learns the entire truth around what he has to say they will understand that he is the same guy he has always been. JD can speak, so can Obama…when memorizing rhetoric, talking points and jargon. History matters, ethics matter, truth matters and JD has the history that we do not want in Congress. JD claims he is a conservative yet he has a history that proves otherwise. JD has not only a history of earmarks, pork barrel and wasteful spending yet he will scream conservative. JD made a fool out of himself and showed all of us who he was when he took a scam job on an infomercial claiming to give away free government money. This is a guy who is not suitable for Congress!
