For some reason, Lindsay Lohan, likely to be seen soon featured in soft-core pornography at this rate, got a tattoo with lyrics from a Billy Joel song. That part sort of makes sense, since Lohan has Long Island roots, but picking lines from “I Go To Extremes”? That’s weird.
Maybe you don’t remember the song? Possibly because it’s not actually very good?
It’s a little late now, but here’s my top five lyrics from the compilation The Essential Billy Joel that I would have suggested instead:
1. “Some people live with the fear of a touch/And the anger of having been a fool” from “An Innocent Man”
2. “Workin’ too hard can give you a heart attack” from “Anthony’s Song (Movin’ Out)”
3. “I was only having fun/Wasn’t hurting anyone/And we all enjoyed the weekend for a change” from “You May Be Right”
4. “I won’t be getting up today” from “Allentown”
5. “Say a word out of line/And you find that the friends/You had are gone forever” from “Say Goodbye to Hollywood”

I could dis-arm you with my good looks or my hands, either way
Isn’t it a crying shame that the many of the female Divas, Stars of today are bad examples for today’s youth to follow. Lohan, Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, and many others et al look and act like waton Sluts!!!! Is it any wonder todays youth (The lost generation, Genration Xer’s) are floating ina sea of dispair. Most of them have little or no social skills. Texting, Sexing, drugs all gone wild! Too bad!! anmd the scariest thought is that they will inherit the reigns of society. It’s all downhill from here!!!!!!!!!!
Don’t go changing, Dan Gibson.
I vote for #2 but only if the tattoo is “Workin’ too can give you a heart attack-ack-ack-ack-ack”.
Secondary vote: “Bottle of red/Ooooooh bottle of white”.
Actually, H, it’s what they call Generation Y and the one after that that’s all wrapped up in adoring those “famous for nothing” idiots and spend all their days texting/sexting with their phones all but surgically attached to their hands. The youngest part of Gen X is 31 or so, and it goes back to people over 40 (such as myself). And the above doesn’t describe us, by and large, at all. Many of us are floating in a sea of despair, but that’s due to the economy putting us in a position that is far worse than we ever thought we’d be in at this age (and another topic entirely).
I kinda think this is appropriate for her
“I don’t care what consequence it brings
I have been a fool for lesser things”
Darling, I don’t know why I go to latrines…..
