An undocumented immigrant from England planned to kill presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at a campaign rally on Monday in Las Vegas.

Michael Steven Sandford, 20 (some reports say he is 19), tried to take a policeman’s gun so he could shoot Trump. According to the BBC, he had been planning to end Trump’s life for about a year and decided to follow through with the plans at the rally because he finally felt confident, court documents say, according to the BBC. Sandford is being charged with an act of violence in a restricted area, the BBC says.

Now, here’s the funny part, as Mother Jones points out in a write-up titled “Illegal Immigrant Tries to Kill Donald Trump!,” Trump hasn’t even tweeted about the incident and the media has completely ignored the young man’s immigration status. Most of Trump’s latest tweets are about “crooked Hillary Clinton,” when he could be using this as such a grand justification for his strong anti-immigrant stance and fetish for building a taller wall along the U.S.-México border.

Is it possible that Trump is ignoring this because the undocumented immigrant in question is from a country whose residents (as long as they are white) Trump is not likely to ban from moving to the U.S.? Yes, it is. Trump is after people of color, not white young men from Britain who overstay their visas in the U.S.

If this reportedly mentally ill young man were Mexican, for instance, media headlines would CERTAINLY make a point out of his immigration status in the country. But, “He’s not the right kind of illegal immigrant. So we’ll just ignore him,” the Mother Jones post says.

    If that were so where are the jobs for minorities? They have been harmed by liberal lies for decades. This was a Hillary supporter and one could say he has been emboldened by her hate speech towards Donald.

  5. Not undocumented, just one of the up to 1 million that have overstayed the open border that ICE has allowed for illegally allowing them to violate tourist visas! Just like most of the 9/11 terrorists. Soon they will arrive from European masses of refugees too. Oh. illegals don’t beget terror do they Maria!

    Gun control laws would have worked well if this slime was able to steal the black lives matter intimidated Police at the Rally.

    Maybe they can all camp out in your house too..

  6. Being from Britain, this guy wasn’t even required to get a visa. And yet he came here with an assassination plan. Compare this to people that have been waiting over twenty years for a visa to become available with plans no grander than being with their families.

  7. “Undocumented” implies that he entered the country without being documented. He didn’t. He over-stayed his visa. That makes him an illegal alien. I know those words sound ugly in this day and age, but they are accurate.

    My father was an illegal alien from Canada, but he preferred the term Wetback, because he swam across the Detroit river on a couple occasions. He eventually achieved citizenship, but only after he had spent thousands of dollars on lawyers and had fathered eight children, so-called “anchor babies”.
    Between us children, we have more than 70 years of military service to the US and we are all proud citizens.

    None of us have ever tried to kill a political candidate, either.

  9. So we are supposed to believe that the reason Trump has not commented on this is because the guy is from England. Perhaps the following facts about Mr. Sandford are more important than his ethnicity?

    Paul Davey, the father, says his son is autistic and suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, which impaired his development and caused him to leave school at age 15, according to London’s Daily Mail newspaper.

    Sandford has also received treatment for anorexia and has previously attempted suicide. Both his parents claim their son had shown no previous interest in politics and doesn’t have a history of violence, but also note that their son rarely if ever shares details about his personal life with them,

    Perhaps Mr Trump does not want to give more ammunition to his critics by attacking a mentally ill individual?

Whenever anyone asks him a question, the string gets pulled and out comes “crooked Hillary” whether it’s relevant to the question or not. He’s going for the repetitive big lie, hoping it’ll work….no such luck Donald!
