In an election where the combined trustworthiness and approval ratings for the two major party nominees does not reach 75%, and where a plurality of voters expresses a desire for some other, any other, candidates, coverage of the Green and Libertarian candidates has been virtually non-existent. (The NYT has published two articles on the Libertarian candidates and one on the Green’s). In all likelihood, neither of the smaller party’s candidates will reach the magic 15% in averaged polling to appear on the national televised debates. (Is that 15% in the Constitution?)

    Someone needs to tell me how either candidate and party can reach higher ratings to qualify for the debates when the media refuses to provide coverage of their candidates. But please avoid circular reasoning and reductios ad absurdum.

    Trump and Sanders are correct, the system IS rigged. But both entered into marriages of convenience to run for election as a Republican and a Democrat and either or both would likely be in the presidential debates had they made the decision to run independent of the major parties. Muzzling the Green and Libertarian party’s candidates and supporters is thinly disguised voter suppression. It should be illegal.

  3. That is ridiculous. Hillary has earned this win because of all of her public service the last 50 years. We shouldn’t even have to count the votes. The republicans made up all those e-mail lies to try to harm her.

  5. Let’s wait for the next batch of Hillary emails. I have a feeling we may find out that the Russians hacked her private server. That may be closer to The truth as to why she immediately blamed them. NATO has been neutered under Obama.
