How will the street closure affect traffic coming to Club Crawl®?

We’ll close down Congress Street at noon to set up our outdoor stages. We’ll then turn Broadway Boulevard into a two-way roadway from Fourth Avenue to Sixth Avenue. Regular westbound traffic on Congress Street will resume at Sixth Avenue.

We strongly recommend entering downtown either from the north via Stone Avenue, or from the south via Sixth Avenue, to avoid delays on that section of westbound Congress/Broadway.

Where are the main entrances to Club Crawl®?

There are two main entrances to Club Crawl®. The East Entrance is at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Congress Street, and the West Entrance is at Sixth Avenue and Congress Street. Each of these entrances will have plenty of people selling wristbands and getting you into the event quickly. Obviously, the earlier you show up, the quicker you get in. For updates on lines at the entrances, we recommend signing up for text-message alerts at ClubCrawl.net.

Finally … where should I park?

The closest parking lot is just east of the Rialto Theatre. This lot can only be accessed from westbound Broadway Boulevard; it costs $5, and you can park there all night—but get there early, because there are only 85 spots.

The biggest parking option—which is very close to the Club Crawl® enclosure, a mere one block away—is on the corner of Pennington Street and Sixth Avenue. The best way to access this garage is to head south on Stone Avenue, turn left onto Pennington, then head east to the Scott Street entrance; you can also head north on Sixth Avenue to Pennington and then the entrance. There are 750 parking spots here, and the price is only $2 for the entire night.

There are also 1,000 on street parking-meter spaces near Club Crawl® that are free after 5 p.m. The La Placita garage, at Church Avenue and Jackson Street (one block south of Broadway), has an additional 500 spaces. With four other large parking garages nearby, the total number of parking spaces downtown totals 14,000.

  1. I live in L.A. and came back home to Tucson for Club Crawl. What a fiasco. I waited in line for 30 minutes to get a wristband, 45 minutes to get into the area and 10 minutes at least to get into any of the clubs.
So basically I paid $10 to wait in line for nearly 2 hours and see 2 local bands play. Hard to sell the Tucson nightlife with a poorly planned event like that. Kind of mebrassing to say I’m originally from Tucson. Step it up next yr and get a little more organized guys.
