Fourth of July happens every year, so why not try something a little different for 2016? The Sonoran Glass School (633 W. 18th St.) will be hosting an Independence Day celebration on Monday, July 4 from 6 to 10 p.m. featuring patriotic crafting, glassblowing demonstrations, a water balloon fight, Brushfire BBQ, and a lecture on U.S. glass art history. Plus it’s another great place to view the fireworks from A Mountain. Admission (not including food, crafts, and beverages) is $5 and children under 12 get in free. Don’t forget to look up the Facebook event page for detailed information on the schedule of events.
