Who wouldn’t like to dress up like Santa and take over Main Gate in the UA area all in a the name of charity? Yes, you’d be nuts not to go Friday, Dec. 19 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. to benefit Ben’s Bells. There are only three rules for the event: 1. You MUST (Highly suggested but not mandatory) dress like Santa (or elf/tree/Menorah/chicken). There’s a $200 prize for best holiday themed costume. 2. You SHOULD ho-ho-ho like Santa. 3. Santas must be kind. (OK, so this isn’t Krampus). Wristbands can be purchased for $5 and 100 percent of the proceeds go to Ben’s Bells. Wristbands get you great specials at participating merchants. The fun begins at Geronimo Plaza with a Santa Sing- A-Long led by the George Howard Band. After the Sing-a-Long, the Band will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. For more info, visit the event Facebook page.
