Through June 28, Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter is presenting a “celestial journey” through the SkyNights program. Led by expert science communicators, participants will delve into the mysteries of the cosmos, have a light dinner, and witness a mountaintop sunset. As the sun sets, participants can peer through the state-of-the-art telescopes and witness distant galaxies, vibrant nebulae, neighboring planets and other celestial wonders.

DeGrazia Gallery

DeGrazia Paints the Seri Indians and Ted DeGrazia’s “Unseen Landscapes” bring rare works out of storage and into public view for a limited time. It features paintings, watercolors and drawings from the museum’s collection. These exhibitions include pieces shown publicly for the first time as well as works unseen for decades. Visitors will wander through the ethereal adobe architecture and verdant desert garden of the historic foothills property. Hand built by DeGrazia, the 10-acre site stands as a testament to his legacy of artistic brilliance and his genuine connection to the region’s history, culture and scenery.

Bisbee Pride Weekend

Bisbee Pride is an annual three-day festival held on Father’s Day weekend. Attendees can celebrate with the LGBTQ+ community in Bisbee with a parade, live music, a pool party and a doggy drag show. The Pride Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. in Old Bisbee on Saturday, 20th. It starts at the historic Cochise County Courthouse, winds down Tombstone Canyon and Main Street and concludes at the Copper Queen Library.

Night Ops

Attendees that join Pima Air & Space Museum and the Tucson Military Vehicle Museum can experience both museums on select evenings with discounted admissions and themed activities. SOFIA Airborne Observatory or Orbis Flying Eye Hospital tours are included on alternating nights. Purchase entry at either museum upon arrival. Wristbands provided for access to both museums. The theme for Night Ops on June 6 is Animal Appreciation Night.
