Disgusted by our governor as much as we are? Want to welcome refugees who are making a home in Tucson? Go to the Arizona Welcomes Refugees Weekly Potluck on Thursdays, 7 to 8 p.m. at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams St. Share a meal with recent refugee families and help plan for upcoming events welcoming future refugees to Arizona. For more info, visit Arizona Welcomes Refugees’ Facebook page.

  1. Hmmmm. So, how many are here legal?

    How many are muslim?

Could be a good opportunity to gather some intel.

  2. Check the refugees to see how many are illegals and/or terrorists before you clasp them to your heaving bosoms.
Unfortunately, with fake IDs, their country of supposed origin not cooperating with information requests, you will have no idea who is going to try to blow up Tucson.

  3. I am SO HAPPY to see such support and love for people escaping terrible situations and trying to making better lives for themselves. Keep up the good work!

  4. Love seeing a community come together and help folks get acclimated to our already great country!

  5. What a wonderful community event. Thanks for showing them what our America is all about. We are Stronger Together!
