ALL ABOUT YOURSELF. Antigone Books. 411 N. Fourth Ave. 792-3715. Kore Press and Antigone Books present an autobiographical writing workshop with Rita Magdaleno from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, August 25. Bring a family photo and learn to focus on narrative writing from personal and family memories through techniques that offer ways to draw out new images and details. BEAUTIFUL WORDS. The Bero Gallery and The Shane House present Poetry Gallery 1996, juried by Trudy Wilner Stack, Curator of Collections at The Center for Creative Photography. The exhibition features artists who have aesthetically and conceptually balanced elements of poetry and visual art to create thought-provoking and innovative visual poetry. The exhibit continues during Thursday Night Art Walk and Downtown Saturday Night through August 29 at both Bero Gallery, 41 S. Sixth Ave., and The Shane House, 218 S.
