TUCSON SIDEWINDERS. Tucson Electric Park,
2500 E. Ajo Way. The Sidewinders resume their mid-season homestand with a four game series against the Calgary Cannons July 25 through 28. A four-game series against the Salt Lake Buzz follows from July 29 through August 8. First pitch is at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets range from $3 to $8. Vouchers good for $1 admission to every Monday night game are available at all Circle K stores. Two-for-one tickets are available every Tuesday night for Safeway Club cardholders. Every Wednesday, hot dogs are just 25 cents; and on Thursdays, all beer and soft-drinks are $1 from first pitch until 9 p.m. For more information, call 434-1000.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces free pick-up games at Himmel Park from 5:30 p.m. to sunset, continuing Sundays throughout the summer. YOUTH BASKETBALL. Sporting Chance Youth Basketball is now accepting registration for youth teams interested in participating in the McDonald's Summer Slam V Youth Basketball Tournament held August 6 through 9. The tournament is open to teams in 10 different divisions. Team fee for the high school divisions is $195, and $150 for youth divisions. All teams are guaranteed at least four games. Games will be played at the UA Bear Down Gym and other Tucson locations. Space is limited and teams are registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
