DANCEPerformances This Week
UA DANCE ENSEMBLE. UA Gittings Theater, northeast corner
of the UA mall, across from McKale Center. Join the UA Dance Ensemble
in a send-off performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, as they
present Ticket to Amsterdam. This power-packed performance
will feature works to be presented at the prestigious International
Announcements
BALLROOM DANCING. Dance to live music from 8 to 11 p.m. Wednesdays at Let's Dance Club, 6245 E. Bellevue. Singles and couples of all skill levels are welcome. Experience a touch of sophistication and romance with theme-dress occasions and a large, decorated ballroom. Cost is $7, $5 for members. Annual membership is $25. Call 885-4599 for information. BALLROOM DANCING. Enjoy dancing at the Arizona Ballroom Company, 5536 E. Grant Road, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings. Singles and couples of all ages and levels are welcome. You'll start the evening with a 30-minute class, then dance the night away! You can also enjoy dancing to live music from 4 to 6 p.m. the first Sunday of the month. Cost is $5 per person. Club every Thursday evening. Lessons are from 7 to 7:45 p.m. for
beginners, and 7:45 to 8:30 for intermediate dancers. The joint
starts jumpin' from 8:30 to 9:30 with general dancing activities
for all. No partner necessary. Cost is $3, $2 for members. Call

Theater School Festival, June 19 through 30 in Amsterdam. Past
University programs invited to this elite festival include Juilliard,
Purchase Conservatory, the Tisch School of the Arts, and Harvard
University; this year, the UA Ensemble was the only U.S. school
invited to attend. Tickets are $8 general, $6 for students and
