KIDSCAMP VOLUNTEERS. The Muscular Dystrophy Association needs volunteer camp counselors for June 15 through 21. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and able to lift a child. SUMMER ON STAGE. The Arizona Theatre Company is offering a five-week intensive theatre arts workshop for high school students. Program runs July 7 through August 8 at the Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Ave. Areas of focus include movement for the theatre, character development, and production. Instruction is provided by ATC pros, guest artists and UA graduate students. The program concludes with performances August 7 and 8. Cost is $495, with some partial scholarships available. Call the UA Extended University at 624-4444 for information. TIME TO GROW. The Pima County Extension center announces the Kids and Plants Grow summer day-camp, for kids grades 4 through 8. Start dates for the two, one-week sessions are July 14 and 21. Kids will participate in a number of hands-on gardening activities, including planting a garden plot, making a terrarium, and rooting plants from cuttings. Classes run from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Cost is $25 per one week session. Call Francine at 626-5161 for registration and information.
