DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association holds its monthly jam at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 21, at the Texas T-Bone Restaurant, 8981 E. Tanque Verde Road. Play, sing along, or just listen. All are welcome.

FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to sing, no auditions required, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road. STRING PLAYERS WANTED. The Civic Orchestra of Tucson, a 60-piece volunteer symphony orchestra starting its 24th season, needs violin, viola, cello, and especially bass players.
