SAFE SITTERS. Kids ages 11 to 13 can pick up valuable, medically accurate instruction for handling baby-sitting emergencies as well as information on child development and age-appropriate activities, at the Unitarian Universalist Church's Safe Sitter Course. The course takes place on two consecutive Saturdays: January 25 and February 1. Cost is $30, and includes a manual and canvas bag baby-sitting kit. Call 748-1551 to enroll your child or baby-sitter.

AT HOME MOMS. Join a national, non-profit network of at-home mothers. Call 721-5787 for information.

CENTERS FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. The Tucson Centers for Women and Children offer educational workshops on domestic violence and weekly support groups. Call 795-4266 for information.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. Children To Children, a non-profit grief support center for children and their families, needs volunteers to train as support group facilitators. Our next volunteer training begins soon. Call 322-9155 for information.

THE PARENT CONNECTION. 5326 E. Pima St. 321-1500. Help new families get off to a good start. Use your time and talents to work with newborns and their parents.
