Best Veggie Burger

Bentley's House of Coffee and Tea
1730 E. Speedway

READERS' PICK: Let's face it, a really good veggie burger is hard to find. Any veggie burger can be decent if you doctor it up with enough condiments, but one that can stand on its own two feet? Look no further than Bentley's House of Coffee and Tea, which has a beautiful burger without the beef. This tasty burger may not sport the shape of the traditional patty, but hey, this isn't a beauty contest. This burger is flavorful with or without the works, and it's not rabbit food either. This baby will fill you up in no time--in fact, smaller stomachs may be persuaded to ask for half a burger. If you do have room left over, their sugar cookies (complete with powdered-sugar frosting and sprinkles) are an excellent sweet fix. Go ahead and indulge--it's good for you!

READERS' POLL RUNNER-UP--TIE: Cup Café, 308 E. 10th St.; Terra Nova Restaurant & Bakery, 6366 E. Broadway Blvd.
