Best Place In Tucson To Feel Like You're In New Jersey

STAFF PICK: If Joe Piscopo was Satan, Greasy Tony's would be hell at 828 E. Speedway. The color television playing constantly from its cheap hotel-style perch shows only purple, and the middle 20 percent of the picture is drawn off sharply to the left. In the eerie, wooden booths, couples with big hair or biceps (depending on their preference) make out, oblivious to the steady flow of to-go customers whom Greasy Tony himself is trying to talk out of having their pizza heated: "It'll just get cold by the time you get it home...." But what pizza it is! Thin crusted, with free extra grease (you don't even have to ask for it!), it's authentically "back-east." For those with a longing for the crispy, floppy pies and slices you thought you couldn't get outside the New York metropolitan area, we urge you to head to Greasy Tony's and order one with the works.
