Best Sushi

STAFF PICK: Jun, the knife-wielding master of sushi at cozy Bunbuku, 4520 E. Broadway, is our favorite Zen artist: He regards a hunk of fresh fish with a discerning eye, makes a few delicately prestidigitatious slices, and serves up a wondrous array of salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and other sushi and sashimi dishes. He's not a bad karaoke artist, either, as you can see for yourself if you head for Bunbuku on a Friday or Saturday night, when would-be Sinatras and Brenda Lees from around the city gather to pay their respects to great fish and timeless song.
