City Week B&B HOLIDAY TOUR. Tucson's Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers present their annual Holiday Open House Tour from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 7. Innkeepers will open their doors, and give the public a chance to see their homes in all their holiday splendor. Admission is $5, with all proceeds benefiting the Casa de Los Niños Crisis Nursery. CHORAL CONCERT. Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. 1946 E. Lee St. The UA Symphonic Choir and the University-Community Chorus perform a free holiday concert at 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday, December 7. A CHRISTMAS CAROL. UA Centennial Hall. Located east of the UA Main Gate on University Boulevard. The Nebraska Theater Caravan makes a stop for two Tucson performances of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. Performances are at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7. CHRISTMAS FEAST. Green Fields Country Day School. 6000 N. Camino de la Tierra. 297-2288. The students of Green Fields Country Day School invite one and all to their ninth annual Madrigal Christmas Feast at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7. FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS. Celebrate the holidays with the wild ones at the Reid Park Zoo from 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays through Sundays, December 5 through 14. The Park will be decked in beautiful holiday lights, and children of all ages will enjoy free holiday treats, holiday entertainment, decorated trees and a visit with Santa. HOLIDAY SING-IN. Grace Chapel. 6180 E. Pima St. Raise your voice in song at the 21st annual Community Messiah Sing-In at 7 p.m. Monday, December 8. Singers of all abilities are invited to join in song, or just listen, to Enrique Lasansky's 24-piece orchestra and professional solosists for an evening of holiday songs and good cheer. Participants will sing the choruses of Handel's Messiah, and traditional Christmas carols to get warmed up. Participants may bring their own musical scores, or purchase or rent them on site. LUMINARIA NIGHTS. Tucson Botanical Gardens. 2150 N. Alvernon Way. 326-9686. The Botanical Gardens kicks off the holiday season with Luminaria Nights from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7. Enjoy hot spiced cider and cookies from Trader Joe's; stop and listen to more than 40 musical groups--from children's choirs to classical music--serenading the gardens. Hundreds of traditional luminarias light up the garden paths, the historic Porter House will be dressed to the holiday nines, and the traditional Tree for the Birds decked in edible ornaments for our feathered friends. TUCSON PASTORELA. PCC Center for the Arts. 2202 W. Anklam Road. Opening December 5 and continuing through December 21: Borderlands Theater presents A Tucson Pastorela, by Max Branscomb. The Pastorela, a Mexican folk-art form of theatre, is written in verse and contains music, levity and poetic dialogue. There's a preview performance at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 4. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, with 3 o'clock matinees Saturday and Sunday. There's no performance on December 12; and no 7 p.m. performance on December 21. Opening night tickets are $15, and include post-performance reception. Tickets are $10 and $12 general, $8 for seniors, $6 for students and $4 for children 12 and under.
