TUCSON CITY MANAGER Mike Brown has a new car (at taxpayer's expense, of course), and in this era of ever-increasing fees and taxes, we all need to know what Brown has as a priority:
It's a maroon Chevy Impala with all-leather interior, 17-inch performance-cast aluminum wheels, bucket seats, stereo, etc. List price: $24,740. Naturally it's unmarked, with cover plates.
If the Mike Browns of the world really gave a rat's ass about the people who pay them, they'd drive around in a vehicle that said "YOUR CITY MANAGER--HOW AM I DOING?"
