Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, A true disciple of the music from the historic Farish Street district, Harmon played guitar for Z.Z. Hill, Dorothy Moore and Sam Myers. On the West Coast he became a writer and producer creating songs for The O'Jays, The Whispers and Black Uhuru.
