The WomanKraft Art Center, 388 S. Stone Ave., was founded in 1974 with a mission to empower women and other underrepresented groups. The nonprofit regularly hosts workshops, events and galleries with a grassroots approach. To raise money for improvements to the center, they will host a rummage sale on Friday, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bargains on art supplies, kitchenware, gifts, books and just about everything else you can think of will be on sale. They are recruiting volunteers to set up and box items. Visit womankraft.org or call 629-9976 for the 411.
