WIP It Good

Hey, listen, you could spend the day after Thanksgiving running for your life from the inevitable Black Friday stampedes, if that that's the kind of life you want to live. Or, if you want to be a civilized human being separate from the madness of the common folk, head to Café Passe for WIP-Giving. From 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, bring some donations for the Community Food Bank (they suggest four items) and you can enjoy what the organizers describe as "a soul-enriching hour and a half of literature from local poets and writers." Who needs another TV anyhow? More info at facebook.com/events/776800895732261.
