Hey book lovers, if the Festival of Books can't come soon enough for your literary desires, fear not. Monday, Aug. 10 is Book Lovers Day and the Pima County libraries are happy to host it at the book store in the Joel Valdez Main Library, 101 N. Stone Ave. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., books and DVDs will be for sale at low prices. Funds from the sale will go right back to the Friends of the Pima County Public Library, a nonprofit that redistributes used books to help fund the libraries' many programs and activities. For more info, visit pimafriends.com.
