Wat Buddhametta and Tucson Buddhist Meditation Center 

When: June 4-Sept. 13 2011
Master meditation teacher and Buddhist monk Ajahn Sarayut teaches beginning meditation from 3 to 4:30 p.m., every Sunday; followed by silent meditation from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Gentle yoga classes take place from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., every Monday. Free. Community chanting and meditation takes place from 5 to 6:15 p.m., Tuesday. A Buddhist study group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday. Tai chi and qi gong classes take place from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., every Thursday. Free. The meditation room is open to the public from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Free.
