Underwear Party

It's that time again—lay off the carbs, start doing those crunches and search your dresser for your best intimate attire. Hotel Congress is throwing its annual underwear party and staffers there claim it will be their biggest yet. According to a press release, 1,200 people of all shapes and sizes showed up last year and partied as Bacchus intended. (Bacchus is the Roman god of wine, but remember to drink responsibly.)

Highlights include performances by B4Skin, DJs Satyr Entertainment, Bob Felix, Sid the Kid and Jalph. The human terrarium will be back—sounds intriguing—and the cover is only $5. Dance floors will be open indoors and out, and an "ancient Roman" photo booth will be available for memorable snapshots of the evening, taken by a professional photographer. And if you don't want to drive to Congress in your skivvies, there's also a free clothing check so you can get undressed there.

The 21-and-older event goes down at 9 p.m., Saturday, July 19. Hotel Congress is located at 318 E. Congress St. Visit hotelcongress.com/music/underwear-party for more info.
