Just want to note that here in Tucson, the antisemitism issue was dealt with by the local organizers dealt with the issue in a very appropriate manner. The concern was brought to the in November, and they issued a statement condemning anti semitic remarks by Farrakhan, and noting they are completely separate from the National March.
Town Halls, where constituents get to ask questions face to face of their congressperson, are a time honored tradition. But McSally, like her Republican colleagues, does not feel any responsibility to respect the rules and honor Democratic traditions. She and her colleagues have created new rules where the president can cite false information to the country day after day. Trump is a textbook fascist in that he attacks the credibility of the media and the courts. McSally is complicit. and must be unseated in 2018 to protect our Democracy
The fact is that a "Beach Boys" show gets us "non hipster" folks excited. (even this lineup) They have a cross generational/cross cultural appeal that a regional Mexican act or current hard rock act simply does not have. I will be bringing four generations of excited people to this show-1) my 76 year old mother (into Beach Boys since early 60's) , 2) my 13 year old son (part Latino and obsessed with 60's to 80's pop and rock), 3) my 47 year old uncool classic rock self, and 4) my millennial 31 year old fiancé who also very much into classic rock/pop from 60's. So I want to thank the Rio Nuevo board and Fletcher McCusker and I will be buying tickets as soon as they go on sale.
