I really worry for the future of our kids and this country. It's sad to think that these kids are so easily manipulated into to delegating their rights and safety to others. To think that these kids will grow up with no sense of personal responsibility or the foundations of which this country was founded upon. Critical thinking is not encouraged and allowed to grow anymore. That empty actions and "feelings" will somehow make them safe, when it does the exact opposite in reality. I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. My eldest daughter can already read the Bill of Rights, field strip, clean, load, and rack an AR15 platform rifle. She is taught gun safety, and understands that the only person responsible for your safety is yourself. That I or police cannot be there 24/7/365. That personal decisions and actions are the best practice to mitigate harm and keep at bay, the evil perpetrated by others. And when evil does come, that you are prepared to face it, challenge it, stand up to it. For if you do not, no one will.
For some reason, at first sight of that sign, I swore it said, "Show boobies, Shaved Ice". I was thinking, what a great marking plan, a topless shaved iced place.
