Torta de huevo, Sonoran-style tepary beans, homemade tortillas, pistachio nut/mesquite muffins, fruit salad, pan dulce, coffee and horchata are on the menu when the The Friends of Tucson's Birthplace host breakfast and an update on restoration of the Mission Garden and surrounding historic sites from 7 to 10 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 7. Following breakfast, guests may tour the Mission Garden, buy a potted Kino heritage tree and watch a demonstration by Mata Ortiz potter Pilo Mora. $10.
